📖 What is VRoid Hub?

A platform run by pixiv for posting and sharing 3D characters (VRM). Upload a VRM made in VRoid Studio or similar from a PC and you get a character page where the model moves with a chosen motion. You can set usage conditions item by item — avatar use, gifting, modification, redistribution, credit and more — and those settings are written into the license data inside the VRM file itself. It is free to use, and a wide range of linked apps such as mocopi, 17LIVE and Narikiri VTuber can pull the model in directly.

💡 When to Use It

Handy when you want to keep an avatar made in VRoid Studio in the cloud and reuse the same model across several VRM-compatible apps. Set it to private and it works purely as your own storage without distributing anything. Solo streamers who want to hand a model to fans can specify conditions such as avatar use and gifting individually, making it clear whether it may be used on monetized streams. The same panel also lets you check the terms before borrowing someone else's model.

🚀 How to Use

1. Step 1: Log in to VRoid Hub with your pixiv ID and choose "Register a character" from a PC (models cannot be posted from a smartphone)
2. Step 2: Enter a character name, attach the VRM file, agree to the terms of use and guidelines, and upload it
3. Step 3: On the details screen pick tags and a motion, then use "Take a photo" to shoot a thumbnail with the gaze and expression you want
4. Step 4: Set the usage conditions under "Use by others" (avatar, gifting, modification, redistribution, credit and so on) and choose whether visibility is "Public" or "Private"
5. Step 5: Finish posting with "Register and publish", then call the model up from VRoid Hub in linked apps such as mocopi or Narikiri VTuber to use it on stream
