OBS Easy BACKUP (kentax design | BOOTH)

A standalone app for Windows 10/11 only (not an official OBS tool, no installation needed) that saves OBS Studio scenes, profiles, plugins and more to a zip with a single "BACKUP NOW!!" button, and lets you pick one from a list to restore. A safety net for corrupted settings or PC replacement. Run it while OBS is closed, and restore with administrator rights; the same path and the same OBS version as at backup time are required. A complete restore is not guaranteed, and size ranges from several hundred MB to several GB. It has no code signing, so Windows shows a warning on first launch. Highlight Analyzer

A Chrome extension that analyzes the chat on YouTube and Twitch stream archives and graphs spikes in laughter and chat speed, making it easier to find clip-worthy moments. It auto-generates a table of contents from chat, supports timestamped notes, and lets you download just the segments you need; on paid plans an AI assistant suggests clip candidates (AI is YouTube only). The basics are free, with paid plans billed monthly (see the official site for details).

Mix It Up

A Windows desktop streaming bot that connects to multiple streaming services at once, including Twitch, YouTube Live, and Kick. A single app covers chat commands, stream alerts, OBS overlays like goal bars and chat boxes, moderation, giveaways, and even viewer points (a custom currency). Settings are stored locally on your own PC rather than in the cloud. You can build everything with the visual editor, and scripting enables more advanced automation.

Streamer.bot

A free, feature-rich bot (for Windows, portable version) that automates behind-the-scenes streaming tasks triggered by events on Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. By combining a Trigger and Sub-Actions inside an Action, you can build no-code workflows like switching OBS scenes with channel points or playing sound effects from chat commands, and you can also write C# code. It also integrates widely with external tools such as OBS WebSocket, VTube Studio, and Stream Deck.

マシュマロ

A fan-mail service for receiving anonymous messages from viewers. マシュマロ has AI that automatically removes abusive messages, which has made it the go-to way to gather material for chatting and advice streams. You can sign up with X (formerly Twitter), a Google account or an email address, and everything happens in the browser. Receiving and answering are free, but answers are capped at 100 characters; Premium (¥550/month, tax included) adds ad-free browsing, a 10,000-character limit, the "non-interference" AI mode, revealing censored words, private replies and LINE notifications.

Firebot

A free all-in-one bot for Twitch streamers. Build chat commands, automatic reactions to events like follows, subs, and raids, timers that post at set intervals, a custom currency earned through watch time, built-in games like Slots and Heists, and spam-fighting moderation—all by combining no-code "effects." Integrates with Streamlabs, StreamElements, Discord, and Philips Hue. Open source under GPL-3.0 and available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

OBS Background Removal

A free OBS plugin that uses AI to remove the background from your webcam feed without a green screen. You can choose from several segmentation models such as SINet, MediaPipe, and Robust Video Matting, and besides making the background transparent it supports background blur and video correction for dark rooms. Runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and can lighten the load using the GPU (CUDA / CoreML). Open source under GPL-3.0.

Rainbow Transition (Scene Change) Asset for OBS (Guesu's Item Shop | BOOTH)

A scene-change asset for OBS Studio's "Stinger" transition, where rainbow stripes sweep diagonally across the screen. Includes a transparent mov (1280×720, with sound effects) and a text file with setup instructions. Free as a celebration of the BOOTH launch; commercial use is allowed for both individuals and companies, with no credit or notification required. Redistributing or selling the asset, distributing modified versions, and extracting and using only the audio are prohibited. Not tested with streaming software other than OBS.

Move Transition

A free transition and filter plugin for OBS Studio. Beyond the "Move" transition, which smoothly animates the position and size of matching sources when you switch scenes, it also includes the Move Source filter for moving sources without switching scenes, Move Value for changing numeric values, and Move Audio for changing audio. You can also set easing and curved paths. Works on Windows / Mac / Linux, GPL-2.0 (by exeldro).

StreamUP

A free, open-source, multi-feature plugin for OBS Studio. It includes Scene Organiser for sorting scenes with folders, search, and favorites; MultiDock for stacking multiple docks into one panel; Pro Toolbar, which keeps CPU, FPS, dropped frames, and bitrate on screen at all times; OBS backup, which saves your scene collections and profiles into a single file; and update checks for your installed plugins. Made for streamers whose OBS setup has grown and needs tidying up.

Flood-Tuber

A PNGTuber plugin that runs inside OBS Studio 30.2 or later. It automatically swaps between idle and talking images based on your mic volume, and supports auto-blink, random actions, and APNG / WebP / GIF. Everything happens inside OBS with no external app needed. Free under GPLv2, for Windows 64-bit (the installer is unsigned, so a SmartScreen warning will appear).

Minchirie (みんちりえ)

A free asset site where independent creator Minchiri distributes background illustrations they drew. It offers 130+ realistic backgrounds of places such as schools, train stations, residential streets and restaurants (1920×1080, JPEG), most with daytime, evening and night (lights on/off) variants, plus a few abstract backgrounds like speed lines. Commercial use and editing are allowed, with no credit or usage report required (redistributing or selling the assets themselves is not allowed). It also has mini tools for streams: a clock, an Amidakuji lottery and dice.

ZapSplat

A large UK-based sound effects library. You can search by category through over 160,000 sound effects, more than 750 SFX packs, and over 1,000 background music tracks, all made by hand by real sound designers. The free Basic membership requires a "ZapSplat" credit, offers mp3 only, and limits downloads; its terms explicitly cover commercial use, including Twitch streams and YouTube videos. Paid Premium gives you wav files, unlimited downloads, and no credit requirement. Using the assets in soundboard products where they are the main value, or for AI training, is prohibited.

Pixabay Music

The music section of Pixabay, best known for its image and video assets. It offers over 290,000 community-uploaded background music tracks, free to download with no sign-up. Browse by genre, mood, or tag, or through official playlists for vlogs, games, and more. Sound effects are in a separate section. Under the Pixabay Content License, commercial use and modification are allowed with no credit required, but redistributing or selling the assets on their own is prohibited. Some tracks are registered with YouTube Content ID, so if a claim comes in, you need to show the license information to get it released.

Amitaro's Voice Material Studio

A free Japanese voice asset site run by voice actress Amitaro since 1997. It offers over 3,300 lines in a bright, easy-to-understand girl's voice, downloadable by category: game and app callouts, number and time readouts, navigation prompts, and more. It also distributes COEIROINK/SHAREVOX voice synthesis models, RVC models, and corpus audio. Commercial use and monetized streaming are allowed as long as you credit the site. Use in age-restricted works and reselling the assets are prohibited.

Utattemita (Song Cover) Vocal Mixing (Perry | Coconala)

A Coconala PRO-certified listing (Perry) where you can commission vocal mixing for song cover videos. The base price is ¥13,000, and includes manual pitch and rhythm correction (not reliant on auto-correction) plus noise removal, with unlimited revisions (piecemeal revision requests may incur a fee). Mixing for vocals run through a voice changer is available at the same price, and the seller also handles harmony creation (+¥5,000), collabs (+¥5,000 per additional person), and heavily effected arrangements. Has a track record mixing VTuber cover albums. Turnaround time varies with workload, so check the listing page.

VOICEPEAK

A one-time-purchase text-to-speech application powered by "Syllaflow", the AI voice synthesis engine developed by Dreamtonics. Type your script, move the emotion parameters for joy, anger, sadness and delight, and you get narration close to a human voice. Commercial and business use is allowed, generally without contacting AHS first, so it is fine for videos and social posts. The popular "6 Narrator Set for Commercial Use" comes in vol.1 and vol.2 at ¥23,800 for the download edition and ¥29,800 boxed. It exports WAV and FLAC but not MP3, and a free trial is available.

VB-CABLE

The go-to driver for adding a virtual audio device that passes sound from one app on your PC to another. Installing it adds a playback device called "CABLE Input" and a recording device called "CABLE Output"; whatever you send to Input comes straight out of Output. It's aimed at streamers who want to route only game audio or a music app to OBS or Discord. Windows XP through 11 (32/64-bit and Arm64) and macOS 10.10 or later are supported. It's donationware — free for personal use, with an optional payment of whatever amount you think it's worth.

[Free Model] Type A-1, Live2D/VTube Studio Compatible (Traimu Koubou | BOOTH)

A free male Live2D model from Traimu Koubou with short silver hair and a white hooded outerwear (model number A-1, tested only in VTube Studio). It has no preset character profile, so you can freely decide the name and profile. Usable for individual VTuber activities, streams and videos, with monetization through ads, Super Chat and memberships allowed. Credit is required, written exactly as "モデル制作：とらいむ工房（@traim_kb）" (Model by Traimu Koubou). Use by corporations or agencies, modifying or redistributing the model data, and merchandise or game production are prohibited.

VRoid Hub

A platform run by pixiv for posting and sharing 3D characters (VRM). Upload a VRM made in VRoid Studio or similar from a PC and you get a character page where the model moves with a chosen motion. You can set usage conditions item by item — avatar use, gifting, modification, redistribution, credit and more — and those settings are written into the license data inside the VRM file itself. It is free to use, and a wide range of linked apps such as mocopi, 17LIVE and Narikiri VTuber can pull the model in directly.

Blender

A free, open-source (GPL) all-in-one 3DCG suite from the Blender Foundation. It covers modeling, sculpting, rigging, and animation in a single app. With the VRM Add-on for Blender installed, you can adjust the outfits and expressions of VRM avatars made in VRoid Studio and similar tools, or build VTuber models from scratch. Anything you create can be used commercially. Available for Windows/macOS/Linux (the 5.x macOS builds require Apple Silicon; Intel Macs are supported up to 4.5 LTS).

Vket Avatar Maker

A free service from HIKKY for creating 3D avatars right in your web browser. Log in with a Vket account, combine face, hairstyle, eye, outfit, and accessory parts, and fine-tune colors, height, and body shape. Finished avatars can be exported as VRM or UnityPackage files, or uploaded directly to VRChat. Commercial use in streaming is allowed, but selling or distributing the model data and corporate use without prior approval are prohibited. Derivative works require the ©HIKKY credit, and paid Creators' Items are also available.

Tsukuyomi-chan Official 3D Model (Type A)

The official Type A 3D model of Tsukuyomi-chan, a free-to-use character. It's distributed at no cost in VRM format along with editable VRoid data (.vroid), and bundles several variations: with and without outlines, a leggings version, a Recotte Studio build, and a lightweight version that cuts materials from 18 down to 7. Under 20,000 polygons and 128 bones keep it light to run. Commercial use is permitted, right up to VTuber activity, video uploads, and merchandise — but credit is required, and it cannot be used for political or religious activity or to attack real people or organizations.

3D Model Built from Your Character Design, VRM (082)

A listing on つなぐ that turns a character design you already have into a 3D model. It is delivered as a VRM file for streaming and arrives with the five Japanese mouth shapes, blinking, five special expressions, and physics on hair, ribbons and accessories. Designing the character from scratch, Perfect Sync support and extra expressions are optional add-ons, and three free revisions are included. Price and turnaround are agreed by message through the "consult before buying" button, so check the listing page for details.

Diff Motion

A Japanese-made app (by yuki-P) that animates a PNGTuber purely from image variants. Register your variants - neutral, open mouth, closed eyes and so on - into a 2-, 4- or 10-image preset, and they switch automatically in time with your mic audio. A VAD mode that responds only to human speech (with 2- and 4-image presets) keeps BGM and background noise from triggering the mouth, and Spout2/Syphon output sends the avatar to OBS with the background still transparent. Expressions can also be switched by hotkey or API. Runs on Windows 11/10 and macOS. 800 yen on BOOTH, commercial use allowed.

Figryne Cast Studio (Lite)

A Japanese-made all-in-one VTuber streaming app that handles everything from VRM avatar tracking to going live. A single webcam tracks your expressions, eye movement and hands, and scene switching, text overlays, live chat display and direct RTMP streaming to YouTube/Twitch are all built in, so there is no OBS to set up. VRoid Hub integration loads your avatar directly, and you can overlay game footage from a capture card. Lite is a one-time purchase of 2,480 yen (the trial stops after 5 minutes per stream); Live2D support is a separate 620-yen add-on. On Mac it is Apple Silicon only.

VirtualCast

A VR communication service from Japan where you put on a VR headset, become an avatar and talk or stream with other users in the same studio. You can bring in your own avatars in VRM format and items in VCI format by uploading them to virtualcast.jp, then hold drop-in collabs in a studio or chatting streams in your own room. There are Steam (HTC VIVE / Valve Index / Windows Mixed Reality) and Meta Quest versions, and it supports streaming to Niconico Live, SHOWROOM and YouTube.

Spectrum Headphones (ハルノソラ | BOOTH)

A free Live2D item asset you load into VTube Studio. Created jointly by 黒綺ハル (modeling) and KOKI (illustration), the audio spectrum on the headphones reacts to the vowel recognition of your microphone's lip sync. Three colours — yellow, pink and emerald green — can be switched with key bindings, and the package includes the full set of integration data such as the moc3 file (cmo3 is not included). To get it you must follow both creators on X and repost the specified post. Credit is encouraged; redistribution, claiming it as your own work and use with image generation AI are prohibited.

IRIAM

A V-Live app that turns a single illustration into a character stream you can run right from your phone. Without needing a Live2D model or PC gear, you can start chatting streams or event streams as a character with moving expressions and gestures. Both streaming and viewing happen entirely on the phone, making it a good entry point before a VTuber debut, or for live communication built around existing character art. It also works well for testing a character's reactions and streaming style before committing to Live2D.

Universal Expression Pack for warudo (GoodLuckLab｜BOOTH)

A model-independent set of universal expression presets for Warudo (¥900). It includes scene data, blueprints, and items, letting you easily add special expressions. Using it alongside Warudo Support Tools is recommended.

N Air

The official free streaming software for Niconico Live, developed by Dwango. Built as an open-source fork of Streamlabs Desktop, it lets you create a program and start, stop, or extend your broadcast without leaving the app. It ships with "N Voice" chat text-to-speech and a voice changer that builds your own voice from 100 sound options (with Kotoyomi Near, Zundamon, and Kasukabe Tsumugi presets), and it supports VTuber streaming with Custom Cast avatars. It runs on Windows 11 or later (64-bit) with 8GB or more of memory, and is free even for commercial use.

Owncast

An open-source live streaming server you run on your own infrastructure. Just send RTMP from OBS or Streamlabs and you can publish your own stream page with built-in chat. It also includes notification integration with the fediverse (like Mastodon), viewer and moderation management, and an embeddable player. Free under the MIT license (Linux/macOS/Docker).

Switcher Studio

A multi-camera streaming app that links several iPhones, iPads and Macs so you can switch between up to nine cameras while live. The point is that phones you already own become your second and third camera, with no dedicated switcher or capture card to buy. It handles lower thirds, scoreboards, slides and pre-recorded video inserts, up to five remote guests, and simulcasting to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and more. There is a 14-day free trial; paid plans are Studio at $65 a month and Suite at $99 a month, with a discount for annual billing.

Riverside

A service for interviews and podcasts that records and live streams in high quality from the browser alone. Its defining feature is local recording on each participant's own device: even if the call connection breaks up, you keep per-person tracks at up to 4K with uncompressed audio. It also offers text-based editing that cuts video the way you edit a transcript, filler-word removal, AI clip generation and simulcasting to YouTube and elsewhere. The free plan gives 720p, two hours of separate-track recording and a watermark; paid plans start at $24 a month for Pro billed annually.

Outplayed

A free recording app that clips and saves your best moments automatically. It runs on the Overwolf client and supports over 5,000 titles. It detects in-game events such as kills and wins to save clips on its own, and also handles hotkey-driven manual recording and a per-match timeline view. The built-in editor trims and merges clips so you can share them straight to social media. Every feature stays free but shows ads, and a paid plan removes them and unlocks extras. Windows only.
