📖 What is Telop Assistant – OBS Streaming Support Tool (Shop*Nao* | BOOTH)?

Streaming support software that links with OBS Studio v28 or later, letting you swap text, images, and media and toggle their visibility from outside OBS. It supports a sequence feature that automatically rotates on-screen captions at set intervals, audio-triggered scene switching, and plugin extensions. For Windows; requires .NET Framework 4.8. Free (a ¥100 developer-support version is available) and commercial use is allowed for both individuals and companies.

💡 When to Use It

For collab streams where you bring in multiple guests in turn, when you want to swap each guest's name and photo with a single button. You don't need to duplicate a scene in OBS for every guest, which keeps your layouts from multiplying out of control. In event streams you can put your run sheet into a sequence to rotate announcement captions automatically, or control it from a Stream Deck, making it easier to focus on hosting even when you're streaming solo.

🚀 How to Use

  1. Step 1: Download the free version (TA_v2.0.24.zip) from the BOOTH product page, install it, and launch it from the entry added to the Start menu. If it won't start, install the .NET Framework 4.8 runtime
  2. Step 2: In OBS Studio v28 or later, enable the server under "Tools" → "WebSocket Server Settings", then enter the connection settings in Telop Assistant and press the connect button. The connection has succeeded when the "OBS" box at the bottom of the screen turns blue
  3. Step 3: Create your settings data. Specify a setting name, scene, target source (the OBS source name), and value (text, URL, or media file) to register the captions and images you want to swap
  4. Step 4: Switch the mode to "登録モード" (Registration mode), select data or a sequence, and assign it to a panel button (right-click the panel to pick a color too). When you're done assigning, switch back to "運用モード" (Operation mode)
  5. Step 5: During your stream, switch captions with the panel buttons or shortcut keys (DirectSend, Forward, Reverse, etc.). It also works with stream controllers such as Stream Deck and integrates with ゆかりねっとコネクターNEO (Yukarinette Connector NEO)
