📖 What is iFacialMocap?

A tracking app that captures facial movement using iPhone's Face ID or a webcam and sends it in real time to Maya, Unity, Blender, 3ds Max, Unreal Engine, and other PC software. Along with the paid version, there's a free ad-supported trial, and it's aimed at people who want more accurate expressions when paired with VSeeFace, VMagicMirror, Warudo, or Luppet.

💡 When to Use It

Useful for 3D VTuber streams where a webcam alone makes expressions look stiff, letting you use the iPhone's ARKit to reflect fine eye, mouth, and eyebrow movement. Its strength is that it can boost face tracking alone while keeping your existing PC setup — VSeeFace, Warudo, and so on — as-is. You'll feel the effect most in streams like karaoke or chatting, where natural expressions directly shape the viewing experience.

🚀 How to Use

  1. Step 1: Install iFacialMocap on your iPhone and get it ready to connect to a PC on the same network.
  2. Step 2: On your PC, open a supported app — VSeeFace, VMagicMirror, Warudo, Luppet, Unity, etc. — and set the receiving port and IP address.
  3. Step 3: Start Face ID or webcam tracking in iFacialMocap and confirm the expression data is reaching your PC.
  4. Step 4: Watch how blinking, mouth opening, eyebrows, and gaze respond, and adjust your model's blend shapes and sensitivity.
  5. Step 5: Capture the VTuber app's window in OBS, test that expressions move naturally, and then use it in your actual stream.
