Universal Expression Pack for warudo (GoodLuckLab｜BOOTH)

A model-independent set of universal expression presets for Warudo (¥900). It includes scene data, blueprints, and items, letting you easily add special expressions. Using it alongside Warudo Support Tools is recommended.

A PNGTuber plugin that builds directly into OBS Studio 30.2 or later. It automatically switches between idle and talking images based on mic volume, with support for automatic blinking, random actions, and APNG/WebP/GIF. Everything happens inside OBS, with no external app required. Free and licensed under GPLv2, for Windows 64-bit (the installer is unsigned, so SmartScreen will show a warning).

HaritoraX 2

A full-body tracking device from Shiftall (¥39,999). The lightweight sensors — 17g for the chest, 17g for the waist, and 6g for the legs — run for about 80 hours (chest/waist) or 50 hours (legs), or about 6 hours with LiDAR enabled. It works with SteamVR-compatible headsets as well as standalone with Meta Quest or Pico, and has been verified to work with VRChat, cluster, and Virtual Motion Capture.

HONK

A simple PNGtuber tool that syncs your mouth movement in real time with your mic volume. It outputs as a virtual camera, so you can bring it straight into OBS or any other streaming software. Lightweight and stable even on low-spec PCs, it's a great fit for anyone who wants to run a PNGtuber setup without weighing down their streaming environment.

iFacialMocap

A tracking app that captures facial movement using iPhone's Face ID or a webcam and sends it in real time to Maya, Unity, Blender, 3ds Max, Unreal Engine, and other PC software. Along with the paid version, there's a free ad-supported trial, and it's aimed at people who want more accurate expressions when paired with VSeeFace, VMagicMirror, Warudo, or Luppet.

Inochi2D

An open-source puppet animation framework for moving layered 2D illustrations in real time. It's built from two apps: "Inochi Creator," for rigging your model, and "Inochi Session," for VTubing with face tracking, letting you give flat art a sense of pseudo-depth in motion. Inochi Creator is available free from itch.io under the BSD-2-Clause license and runs on Windows/Linux.

IRIAM

A V-Live app that turns a single illustration into a character stream you can run right from your phone. Without needing a Live2D model or PC gear, you can start chatting streams or event streams as a character with moving expressions and gestures. Both streaming and viewing happen entirely on the phone, making it a good entry point before a VTuber debut, or for live communication built around existing character art. It also works well for testing a character's reactions and streaming style before committing to Live2D.

Live2D Cubism

A creation tool that brings 2D illustrations to life in real time. Widely adopted for VTuber model production, it offers a free FREE plan alongside a feature-rich PRO plan, known for its powerful animation expressiveness.

LuppetX

The current version of a VTuber tracking software that animates your upper body using just a webcam and Leap Motion. It supports Leap Motion, Ultraleap, and Quest Pro, and can even reflect finger movements. Compatible with VRM 1.0. Personal license ¥6,600, corporate license ¥99,800. A free trial with an on-screen "sample" watermark is available.

MocapForAll

A Windows 10-only app that performs full-body motion capture using two or more off-the-shelf webcams. It can also capture fingers and facial expressions to a basic degree, and supports real-time transmission via VMT, VMC, and VRChat OSC, as well as BVH and FBX export. A free trial is distributed on Steam, and the full version is a one-time purchase.

mocopi

Sony's motion capture system. Just attach six compact sensors to your body for 3D full-body tracking, working in tandem with your smartphone. It can also connect to VRChat and VMC protocol-compatible software for full-body tracking in VTuber streams. Priced at ¥49,500 (tax included), sold through Sony Store and other retailers.

MOZ-3 Anime Studio

A completely free, open-source tool that turns your illustration into a lip-synced avatar just by uploading it split into parts. Ultra-lightweight at roughly 100MB of memory usage, it runs even on low-spec PCs and integrates with OBS. Version 1.0.0 was released in March 2026.

nizima LIVE

A VTuber streaming app that tracks your facial expressions and movements using just a webcam, letting you easily animate a Live2D model. With over 100 preset items and a collab feature supporting up to 8 simultaneous connections, it's also a great entry point for starting your VTuber debut without any special equipment.

PNGtuber+

Free software that makes it easy to set up a PNGTuber stream using PNG images. By combining sprite-sheet animation, voice-triggered display switching, and jiggle/bounce effects, it lets beginner streamers create a lively-feeling avatar without needing a Live2D model.

Puppet3

An affordable IMU sensor-based full-body tracking system. Trackers send data to a PC server over Wi-Fi, and it works with SteamVR games and VRChat, as well as VMC/OSC-compatible software and vtubing in VSeeFace and Warudo. Fully open-source, with hardware starting at $219.

TDPT (Three D Pose Tracker)

A motion capture tool that uses AI to estimate 24 full-body pose points from a single webcam. It drives VRM (0.x / 1.x) avatars and can send data to apps like VSeeFace over the VMC protocol, plus export in BVH, VMD, and VRMA formats — handy for MMD and 3D music video production too. The Windows version is freeware.

A face tracking extension plugin for VTube Studio and Live2D (¥1,010). It lets you fine-tune iPhone ARKit data before feeding it into your model, improving how accurately your mouth and eyes follow your real expressions. Supports input from iFacialMocap, FaceMotion3D, and more (Windows 10 or later recommended).

VCam (macOS)

A VTuber app made exclusively for macOS. It tracks your expressions, hands, and fingers to animate a VRM avatar, and its virtual camera feature sends the video feed straight to OBS or Zoom. It supports VRoid Hub integration, and there's a companion app for Live2D called VCam2D. It's a one-time purchase (major updates require buying again).

VNyan

A free 3D VTuber app for Windows that animates VRM/VSFAvatar models using ARKit face tracking from an iPhone or webcam. It supports VMC for full-body integration too, and you can build in chat reactions, effects, and physics behavior through a node graph. It also integrates with Twitch, YouTube, and Kick, making it a great pick for anyone who wants to expand their 3D stream performance for free.

VSeeFace

Free software that face-tracks a 3D VRM avatar using just a webcam. Created and distributed for free by independent developer Emiliana, it pairs with OBS to make VTuber streaming easy to get started with.

VTube Studio

A tracking tool for streaming that animates Live2D models using a webcam or smartphone. Packed with features including face tracking, lip sync, blinking, and expression control, plus Twitch integration. Free to use at its core, with watermark removal as the only paid DLC—a setup loved by many VTubers.

waidayo

A free tool that captures your expressions with iPhone/iPad face recognition and sends them to a VRM avatar on your PC. It can send motion to VMC Protocol-compatible software, including Virtual Motion Capture. Requires an iPhone/iPad with an A12 Bionic chip or later, and a PC viewer is included.

Warudo

Highly customizable software built specifically for 3D VTuber streaming. Features built-in face and hand tracking, a Blueprint system, and support for C# plugins. Also comes packed with viewer-interaction features for Twitch and YouTube.

Webcam Motion Capture

Motion capture software that naturally tracks even your hands and fingers using just a webcam. It supports VRM models, can send data to external apps via the VMC protocol, and can save files in FBX format — boosting the expressiveness of full-body streams without any dedicated hardware.

XR Animator

An AI motion capture app that can track your full body with just a single webcam. It uses MediaPipe and TensorFlow.js to animate VRM/MMD models. You can export motion as VMD/BVH/glTF, and also send it to VSeeFace, VNyan, or Warudo via VMC Protocol. The source code is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, but using the app or the motion you export for monetized streams isn't restricted.
