📖 What is MocapForAll?
A Windows 10-only app that performs full-body motion capture using two or more off-the-shelf webcams. It can also capture fingers and facial expressions to a basic degree, and supports real-time transmission via VMT, VMC, and VRChat OSC, as well as BVH and FBX export. A free trial is distributed on Steam, and the full version is a one-time purchase.
💡 When to Use It
Built for solo VTubers, VRChat users, and small video or game production teams who want to try full-body motion capture on a budget webcam setup. It's handy when you want to create BVH/FBX assets without a dedicated mocap suit, or when testing real-time motion transmission over VMC/OSC.

🚀 How to Use
- Step 1: Install the free trial from the Steam store page, and prepare a Windows 10 PC with two or more webcams.
- Step 2: Mount the cameras so your whole body is in frame, and if needed, add a smartphone or tablet turned into a webcam.
- Step 3: Get MocapForAll to recognize the cameras, calibrate using a QR code on the floor or similar, then start tracking.
- Step 4: For VRChat or SteamVR use, configure VMT / VMC / VRChat OSC output, and for production use, save as BVH or FBX.
- Step 5: If the frame rate or accuracy falls short, reconsider your camera count, resolution, and PC load, and always confirm it works using the trial before buying the paid version.
