📖 What is Restream?

A multistreaming service that sends a single stream to 30+ destinations at once, including YouTube, Twitch, Kick, and TikTok. Beyond sending from OBS, you can also stream entirely from the browser with Restream Studio, and it includes cross-platform chat that gathers comments from every site into one screen, plus on-screen chat overlays. The free plan covers up to 2 simultaneous destinations (Studio streams carry the Restream logo and are capped at 720p). To add more destinations, upgrade to the paid Standard plan or above.

💡 When to Use It

For streamers who have viewers on both YouTube and Twitch and don't want to pick just one, letting them multistream to both at once. Your PC's connection and load stay at the level of a single stream while it reaches multiple sites. It also helps if you're not confident configuring OBS and want to start a chatting stream using only the browser, or if you want to gather every site's chat into a single screen during a multistream so you can read it aloud or display it on screen.

🚀 How to Use

1. Step 1: Create a free account at restream.io, then link the channels you want to stream to (like YouTube and Twitch) from "Add Channel" on the dashboard (the free plan supports up to 2 simultaneous destinations).
2. Step 2: In OBS, go to Settings → Stream, choose "Restream.io" as the service, and log in via Connect Account (or manually paste in your Restream stream key). If you're not using OBS, open Restream Studio in your browser instead.
3. Step 3: On the Restream dashboard, turn each channel on or off and set the stream title and description for all of them at once.
4. Step 4: Click Start Streaming in OBS (or Go Live in Studio), and it streams simultaneously to every channel you've linked.
5. Step 5: While live, read every site's chat in one place with Restream Chat, and if you're streaming from Studio, click a comment to display it on screen.
