📖 What is Streamer.bot?

A free, feature-rich bot (for Windows, portable version) that automates behind-the-scenes streaming tasks triggered by events on Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. By combining a Trigger and Sub-Actions inside an Action, you can build no-code workflows like switching OBS scenes with channel points or playing sound effects from chat commands, and you can also write C# code. It also integrates widely with external tools such as OBS WebSocket, VTube Studio, and Stream Deck.

💡 When to Use It

For automatically running OBS scene switches, sound effects, and VTube Studio expression changes together in response to Twitch channel points or "!" commands. It also suits streamers who want the same bot to react to chat on both YouTube and Twitch while multistreaming, or who want to build interactive segments with conditional branching that existing alert tools can't create. It has a lot of settings, so it's best suited to intermediate streamers and above who are already comfortable streaming.

🚀 How to Use

1. Step 1: Get the latest stable ZIP from Downloads on the official site, extract it somewhere other than a cloud-sync folder like OneDrive, and launch Streamer.bot.exe (running it with administrator privileges is not recommended).
2. Step 2: In the Platforms tab, link whichever of Twitch, YouTube, and Kick you use, connecting both your streamer account and your bot account.
3. Step 3: Register OBS in the Stream Apps tab, and connect it by entering the port and password shown under Tools → WebSocket Server Settings in OBS.
4. Step 4: Create a new Action in the Actions tab, adding channel point redemptions or chat commands as Triggers, and things like scene switches, sound effect playback, and chat messages as Sub-Actions.
5. Step 5: Manually run the Trigger as a test to check it works, and if you need more complex branching, refer to the official documentation and use C#'s Execute Code.
