📖 What is Aitum Multistream?
A free plugin that lets you multistream from OBS Studio to several destinations at once. Because it builds a multistream setup entirely within OBS without going through an external relay service, you avoid monthly relay fees. It can stream to Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and any RTMP address, and lets you set a different resolution or bitrate for each destination. Requires OBS Studio 30.0 or later (64-bit). It's GPL-2.0 open source, developed by Aitum, the same team behind the vertical-streaming plugin Aitum Vertical.
💡 When to Use It
Useful when you want to stream to YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and other platforms simultaneously to widen your entry points for viewers. It's also great for anyone who wants to drop a paid cloud relay service and keep everything self-contained in OBS, letting you multistream without monthly fees. You can set a different bitrate per destination, so you can ease the load with something like “1080p for YouTube, 720p for Twitch.” Just note that your PC and upload bandwidth load increase with every extra destination, so a test stream before going live for real is a must.
