📖 What is f-stock?

A Japanese-language site distributing full HD video effect assets for free. Over 400 clips — speed lines, party poppers, lightning, countdowns — are published as MP4 (some as mov) at “H.264/AVC: 1920×1080” and can be downloaded without signing up. Commercial use and use in monetized YouTube videos are permitted, and credit is not required. Redistributing the assets unmodified or selling them through stock photo services is prohibited. Good for scene transitions and small accents on starting soon screens.

💡 When to Use It

For when you want to add a little something to a scene transition. Layer a speed line or party popper effect through an OBS media source at the moment you cut from chatting into the main content, and a screen that was just text suddenly has life. It works in clip and highlight edits too, as a cut-in that emphasises a chat message or as a countdown on a starting soon screen. Commercial use and monetization are allowed, so it can go straight into sponsored streams and members-only videos.

🚀 How to Use

1. Step 1: Find the asset you want through the search box at the top of the site or the list of 70-plus tags (speed lines, party poppers and so on). Short keywords tend to return more hits.
2. Step 2: Click the ☆ on a thumbnail to add it to your favourites list. Gathering candidates first makes them easier to compare side by side.
3. Step 3: Check the motion on the asset's own page and download the full HD “H.264/AVC: 1920×1080” version. The 300×158 low-quality version in the right menu is for rough placement checks.
4. Step 4: Add the MP4 to a Media Source in OBS Studio, or load it into the timeline in AviUtl, Premiere Pro or After Effects and layer it over your stream screen with a blend mode such as Screen.
5. Step 5: Check the usage terms and take care not to redistribute or sell the assets unmodified. Credit is optional; if you include it, write “f-stock” with the site URL.
