📖 What is Lightstream Studio?
A cloud-based streaming studio that runs right in your browser. Since video compositing happens in the cloud, it doesn't tax your PC or console, letting you add overlays and alerts to Xbox or PlayStation footage without a capture card. You can switch between scenes while live, and multistream to up to 5 RTMP-compatible destinations like Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook at once. The free plan offers 720p, up to 10 hours, 3 scenes, and a Lightstream logo, while Premium ($12/month, or $9/month billed annually) unlocks 1080p, up to 20 scenes, and up to 10 guests.
💡 When to Use It
Perfect for when you don't have a capture card or a dedicated streaming PC but still want your Xbox or PS5 streams to look a bit more polished. Stream straight from your console while switching between starting soon, break, and ending scenes, and show follow alerts on screen. Even on days when you're streaming from a room with nothing but your console, you just need a browser to keep the same layout going.
