📖 What is N Air?

The official free streaming software for Niconico Live, developed by Dwango. Built as an open-source fork of Streamlabs Desktop, it lets you create a program and start, stop, or extend your broadcast without leaving the app. It ships with "N Voice" chat text-to-speech and a voice changer that builds your own voice from 100 sound options (with Kotoyomi Near, Zundamon, and Kasukabe Tsumugi presets), and it supports VTuber streaming with Custom Cast avatars. It runs on Windows 11 or later (64-bit) with 8GB or more of memory, and is free even for commercial use.

💡 When to Use It

Reach for it when Niconico Live is your main platform and you want program creation, start/stop, and time extensions handled inside the streaming app itself. During game streams where your hands are busy, "N Voice" reads chat aloud so you can keep reacting to viewers without breaking the play. For chatting streams where you would rather not use your real voice, the built-in voice changer lets you speak through a preset instead. Pair it with a Custom Cast avatar and you can start VTuber streaming on Niconico with no extra software.

🚀 How to Use

1. Step 1: Download the Windows installer from the download page on the official site and install it on a PC running Windows 11 or later (64-bit) with 8GB or more of memory.
2. Step 2: Launch N Air, sign in with your Niconico account, and create a program from inside the app (starting, ending, and extending it are all handled in N Air too).
3. Step 3: Add your game capture, webcam, and Custom Cast avatar as Sources inside a Scene, then arrange your stream layout.
4. Step 4: Turn on "N Voice" chat text-to-speech and pick a reading voice, then set up the voice changer with a preset (Kotoyomi Near / Zundamon / Kasukabe Tsumugi) or a voice you build yourself.
5. Step 5: Check your audio levels and bitrate, hit "Start Streaming", and fine-tune settings mid-stream while watching your viewer count and chat.
