📖 What is NVIDIA Broadcast?

A free AI streaming-assist app for PCs with GeForce RTX cards. It applies AI effects in real time through virtual devices: noise removal, room echo removal and studio voice for the microphone, and background removal, blur or replacement, virtual key light, eye contact and auto frame for the camera. The advantage is that any app that lets you pick an input device — OBS, Discord, Zoom — can use it as is. It requires an RTX 2060 or better GPU and Windows 10/11 (64-bit).

💡 When to Use It

Use it when you want AI to strip out the background noise that creeps into your microphone, such as typing or a running fan. It can also remove the background from your camera feed in real time without a green screen. Paired with OBS or another streaming app, it lifts the audio and video quality of your streams and recordings considerably (an NVIDIA RTX PC is required).

🚀 How to Use

1. Step 1: Download NVIDIA Broadcast for free from the official NVIDIA site and install it (a PC with an RTX GPU is required)
2. Step 2: Launch the app, open the “Microphone” tab and turn on the “Noise Removal” effect
3. Step 3: In the microphone settings in OBS Studio, change the input device to “NVIDIA Broadcast”
4. Step 4: Enable background removal or Auto Frame in the “Camera” tab if you need them
