📖 What is REALITY?

A live streaming app that reads your expressions through your phone's front camera so you can stream as an avatar without showing your face. A few taps on the “+” on the home screen start a stream, and features such as in-stream background music, a stream board, a gift wishlist and a “World” mode you can walk around in 3D round out the experience. Avatars can be edited in detail — face, body, clothing — and saved as up to ten outfit sets. It is free at its core on iOS and Android, and gifts you receive become LIVE points that lead to monetization. Operated by REALITY Inc.

💡 When to Use It

The shortest route into VTubing with nothing but a phone. Install the app, put your avatar together, and you can start a chatting stream the same day. There is plenty of room for ideas too — invite other streamers as guests for a collab stream, or walk around a 3D space with your viewers using World mode. Keep streaming and your rank rises to unlock game streaming with OBS integration, which also suits anyone who wants to move step by step from phone streaming to game streaming on a PC.

🚀 How to Use

1. Step 1: Install REALITY from the App Store or Google Play and create an account.
2. Step 2: Open “My Profile” at the bottom right of the home screen, tap the wardrobe icon, then edit your face and body with the 😊 button and your clothes and accessories with the 👕 button, and save. You can keep up to ten favourite combinations as outfit sets.
3. Step 3: Tap the “+” button in the middle of the home screen to open the stream setup screen, then set your title (up to 100 characters), in-stream background music, topic, visibility and gift wishlist.
4. Step 4: Use the 👚 mark at the top to adjust the background and how your avatar appears, then hit the start button to go live. The “×” at the top right ends the stream.
5. Step 5: Once you are comfortable, use World mode and the stream board from the “…” detail menu at the bottom right. Reaching rank D1 unlocks game streaming (OBS integration), letting you stream your PC game screen alongside your avatar.
